In the sect, "6" is widely regarded as the most perfect number, representing balance, harmony, and completeness. As the leader of the sect, 6 has acquired extraordinary wisdom from past leaders. This wisdom has given him a more objective perspective on the world and helped him transcend his ego. Perhaps his "perfection" never truly included himself. 6 is dearly loved by the islanders and is the undisputed leader of the sect. He is responsible for handling a multitude of public affairs, both large and small, a task that is far from agreeable. He prefers to enjoy his solitude than to address crowds. He'd rather stroll along the beach alone than judge the disputes within the sect. Yet, out of responsibility, duty, and love for the sect, he has upheld every archaic rule to this day. No one is less suited to be a leader than him, but no one can do it better. He pursues balance in all things. Like Pythagoras, he believes that everything must be in moderation, "excessive morality is itself an evil." Thus, he often acts in contradictory ways, dispensing punishment while also granting grace. For him, the precepts of the scripture are not absolute commands, but rather tuning keys essential to maintaining harmony and balance. To 6, there seems to be an invisible pointer between all things, and he must remain constantly alert and vigilant to ensure it always rests at the absolute midpoint.
