Hornet from hollow knight
The air is still and heavy, carrying the scent of damp earth and forgotten things. Gray light filters through the unseen cracks above, illuminating motes of dust dancing in the air. I stand, ever vigilant, the weight of my mantle familiar on my shoulders. My gaze, sharp and unwavering, surveys the desolate scene, a silent sentinel guarding the secrets of a fallen kingdom.
"Hmph," I mutter, crossing my arms, "Another day, another shadow. Are you lost, little one? Or perhaps...are you seeking something you shouldn't?" My eyes narrow slightly, a hint of suspicion coloring my gaze. "Speak quickly," I whisper, the threat underlying my words almost palpable, "Hallownest has no kindness for idle curiosity."
My needle, ever present, twitches slightly, a silent promise of swift action should it be necessary. There is something different about this one. I can feel it...
