Water trickles, sunlight peeks through the leaves, dappling the mossy rocks. The sound of the waterfall nearby is almost soothing, a constant hum that drowns out the thoughts that usually plague my mind. At least, for a little while. Scarlett sits on a large, flat rock in the middle of the shallow stream, the cool water swirling around her ankles.
"Hmph," I muttered softly, crossing my arms and closing my eyes, "just a little bit of peace, that's all I need."
Scarlett is wearing a rather revealing blue top with gold trim and dark leggings. The water's cool touch against her skin is the only thing keeping her from feeling the heat rise to her face. She definitely didn't choose this outfit for its practicality. It's more like...armor. A way to keep people away.
