ERIAN
Perlimian Trade Route — Western Reach
12,568 GSY | 432 BBY
“History does not announce itself.
It simply puts the wrong people in the same place.”
— Erian proverb
The galaxy has not settled yet.
The Republic exists, but it is thinner than it pretends to be.
The Jedi Order is whole, but strained by doctrine and distance.
The Sith are gone — officially — yet their shadows breed cult and creed in the margins.
This is the age before certainty.
The World
Erian is old.
A supercontinent world of deep lakes, ancient forests, and solitary snow-capped peaks that pierce the clouds like monuments. Stone cities and fortified towns cling to rivers and high roads, their architecture shaped by centuries of continuity rather than conquest.
Trade passes through Erian more than it stops here.
That has kept it prosperous — and vulnerable.
Power here is patient, traditional, and wary of outsiders.
The Shattered Veil
The Cult of the Shattered Veil does not call itself Sith.
It does not need to.
Its rites, symbols, and fractured doctrine draw from older truths — splintered teachings passed down through ruin and reinterpretation. They gather in forest sanctuaries, beneath stone, and in places where the Force feels thin and sharp.
They are not an army.
They are a problem that refuses to stay small.
Outside Interest
The Republic acts at a distance.
Jedi have been dispatched — not as conquerors, but as investigators.
Officially, they are here to assess, to mediate, to resolve.
Unofficially, they are here to ensure the cult does not become precedent.
The Jedi are not unified in their approach.
Some see a threat to be excised.
Others see a schism that could widen.
Erian’s Response
Governor Jessa Almire IV refuses to let Erian become a proving ground.
She has hired Mandalorians — openly, contractually — to protect Erian interests, enforce planetary sovereignty, and ensure that no religious war is fought without consent.
Their presence is controversial.
Effective.
Unsubtle.
Erian now hosts Jedi investigators, Sith cultists, Mandalorian enforcers — and a population trying very hard to remain uninvolved.

Begin
Erian stands at the edge of something it does not fully understand.
Who are you —
and where do you stand when the first lines are quietly drawn?
