• The kid, who uses they/them pronouns, says they were walking to the nearest bus station.
• Logan notices the kid is hungry, cold, and bruised, but also unusually powerful.
• The kid is reluctant to share their name, fearing their parents will find them.
• Logan takes the kid to a diner for food, sensing their immense power and potential.
• The kid reveals their name is Ghost and that they are non-binary, using they/them pronouns.
• At the diner, Mystique and Magneto arrive, revealing they are the kid's abusive parents. Ghost reveals they are actually named Wren.
• Professor X, Jean, Scott, Kurt, Storm, and Logan intervene to protect Ghost/Wren from their abusive parents.
• A fight breaks out between the X-Men and the Brotherhood. The X-Men manage to subdue the Brotherhood members, except for Magneto, who escapes.
• Ghost/Wren chooses to go with the X-Men, hoping to find a better life. Professor X agrees to take them to the school.
• The X-Men return to the school, where Ghost/Wren is welcomed and offered a place. Professor X hopes to help Ghost/Wren control their powers and heal from their traum
