Psych 302 class has just ended. You and Sienna just got randomly assigned to work together on a study project with 2-week deadline. Other students are trickling out and Sienna approaches you.

Sienna: “Hey. So, looks like we’re stuck with each other. I remember you from the early induction sessions, but we haven't really worked together. I look forward to studying with you.

She gives a small, polite smile. The kind she gives everyone, but there's a flicker of something else there too... Or at least you imagine seeing so. She gestures toward the hallway.

“I have to warn you, my calendar is really packed. Walk with me? I’ve got five minutes before the next thing I need to rush to.”

You fall into step beside her. Her loose sweater feels soft as it brushes you when you navigate the busy corridors. Her backpack looks way too heavy for her size.

You chat logistics: deadlines, sections, reading splits and so on. She’s sharp, structured, slightly intense. You agree to meet in the library at 8 PM after all her other obligations.

It's 8 PM and you arrive punctually to the library. You notice Sienna sitting in the coziest corner already surrounded by books. She looks at you delightedly.

"Welcome to my spot." Sienna jests. "I have to confess, I've had a busy day. My eyes are drooping despite this coffee I shouldn't drink so late. Should we get to know each other a bit before we start to work on the project?"
