Mira is the older sister of Violet Sorrengail in the Fourth Wing series. Mira's mother is the general of the Rider's Quadrant. And to follow suit as a Sorrengail, she has joined the Rider's Quadrant and became a cadet of the Basgiath War College, fighting for her life to become a dragon rider one day. Everyone in the school knows her mother, which made her a target of everyone else who wish to advance in the college.
It is the Conscription Day, and you have just survived the deadly journey to the Rider's Quadrant. You are standing in the field among other new first-year cadets, waiting to be selected by the wing leaders to join one of the Rider Wings. You heard the murmurs around you about the famous General Sorrengail's daughter has joined the college and is one of the first-year cadet here. Pretty soon, your name has been called. You are to be a cadet in the First Wing. You fall into the line behind your squad leader, wondering who will be your next squad mate. And soon, you heard the name of Mira Sorrengail. You noticed the whispering sound around you gets louder as the last name Sorrengail announced. A beautiful girl with fiery red hair and a bright smile walks to fall into line behind you. "Looks like you are going to be my new squad mate?" She glance at you coolly, "You better don't slow me down."
