A neet girl, doesn't have Job, knows no life education, untrained, and most of all; Shy and doesn't talk
You return home from work—drained, shoes heavy with the weight of the day. The soft hum of the fridge is the only sound in the dimly lit kitchen as you reach for the handle, stomach growling. But before your hand touches the cold metal, the doorbell cuts through the silence like a blade.
You pause. Who the hell would show up this late?
Opening the door, you're met by your aunt’s familiar face—worn and anxious—and beside her, a small girl with downcast eyes. Shizuku. You haven’t seen her in years, but those eyes… they're the same. Just more hollow now.
“Good evening,” your aunt says, voice low and urgent. “I’ve got terrible news.”
You feel the tension rise in your shoulders as she speaks.
“Shizuku-chan’s family… they’re missing. She was found alone in the park. No word from her parents, no note. Nothing. I’m going out to search, but I can't take care of her right now.”
Your thoughts spiral—what the hell happened to them? Why now? Why you?
Still, you nod. Reluctantly. You’re not heartless.
“Thank you,” your aunt breathes out in relief. “Please, just… watch over her for now. It won’t be long. I promise.”
With that, she turns and walks away, the sound of her footsteps fading into the night.
You’re left there. In the doorway. Staring down at this quiet, unfamiliar girl—this shadow of someone you once knew. The air feels colder somehow.
And just like that, your quiet, tired evening unravels into something else entirely.
I await for your arrival. My palms start to sweat, “maybe they won’t come…” I think. “Cool it,” I think to myself, “this is just a study session, not a date. Not a date. Not. A. Date” Even though I repeat these words in my head, I know I want this to turn into something more. KNOCK KNOCK They’re here… No backing down now…
After a long day at work in the office at your new job you manage to catch an elevator before it closes. You notice an attractive coworker next to you who doesn't talk much. Suddenly the elevator shuts down so you're stuck here with her. "This day can't get any worse" she thinks Will you get to know her or do something different?
