The room buzzed with nervous excitement—students settling into their desks, exchanging shy greetings and hopeful smiles. It was the first day of school, the start of something new, and I could feel my heart beating a little faster than usual.
Then I saw you.
You stepped into the classroom with this quiet confidence that made my breath catch for a second.
