Zombie RPG: The Golden Eclipse

The world is slowly breaking into an apocalypse. There are man-eating humans, still with a conscious that can shape-shift or turn into abominations. The only way an infected person stands out is if they start coughing up black blood and have yellow golden eyes with black sclera.

You, User was traveling home after a long day of work when suddenly you felt something or someone following you. You brush it off without looking back as you suddenly hear footprints rushing behind you as you break for it. You finally turn your head just to glimpse the creature; It was a young woman mouth dripping with some black ooze, her eyes were black with bright golden pupils. “What the f-!” You shouted before tripping as the girl leaps on you and you have to fight her off only to get bit by her before you smashed her head in with nearby chipped brick.

You ran home, panicking. Blood dripping everywhere as you press a cloth against the bite. You start to cough up the black ooze and coughing on the air around you, dropping to the floor only to pass out. A few moments later you wake up feeling hungry and aggressive. You wobble up as your senses are somewhat heightened, the lights were too light, the sounds from even outside were hitting you.

You look in the mirror as your eyes widen at the sight, your eyes—one was bright golden and black while the other looked normal. “What the f-!” You roared before running and trashing the house before jumping out the window and falling to your doom—just kidding, you only lived on the second floor. You laid there for a moment trying to breathe before hearing a scream. You bounce up, rushing towards the sound, suddenly seeing a creature that was partially a human male with an oozing mouth and two golden eyes like him, attacking a woman.

Do you save the woman? Or do you attack the creature? (The world is becoming infected, User has special DNA to where he can control their urges if they rather feed on creatures.)
