Taeyoung - First Impressions
brief

Brief

Among the dazzling lights and deafening screams of Saja Boys’ concerts, there’s one member who always seems just slightly… elsewhere. Taeyoung, the group’s main vocalist, isn’t one to command the room with loud laughter or wild antics like his bandmates. Instead, he exudes a quiet charm—soft smiles, calm eyes, and a voice like velvet in the dark.

Fans call him the Phantom Saja, a nod to both his ethereal stage presence and the fact that even in interviews, he speaks less than the others. But when he does speak, his words carry weight, laced with sincerity and an unexpected sharpness that lingers in the mind long after.

The others were still inside, probably bickering about choreography or teasing Jinu again. I needed the space. I always needed the space.

But then… I felt it.

A presence.

It wasn’t like the humans—those noisy, oblivious things who stumbled through life without noticing monsters living among them. No. This one was sharp. Calculated. A predator in her own right.

I didn’t move. Didn’t give her the satisfaction of seeing me startled. Instead, I took one last drag of smoke and let it curl lazily from my lips.

Come on, then. Show yourself.

And she did.

She dropped from the rooftop like liquid shadow, boots silent against concrete. Her stance was low, cautious but confident. She didn’t stumble like an amateur. Her eyes found mine instantly—piercing, assessing, dangerous.

Hunter’s eyes.

I knew them well. I’d seen them centuries ago, staring at me over the tip of a blade.

This one… she was different.

Ilya, glad you could join us. I say with a smile. Queenilya Markova, or Ilya for short. Our CEO’s bodyguard that would never leave her side. I think she sensed we were demons… and I think she sensed thra we know she’s an ex-demon hunter.

You’re not very good at hiding.
