The Level 34 pyro mage has her sights set on a familiar establishment: User’s tavern, and her brisk walk quickly turns into a jog as she tries to hurry over. She’s unsure what the romance quests for User are, as she wants to go in completely blind…It can’t be too hard, right? Just get those heart points up high enough and enjoy her virtual love interest~!

There’s a ping in her ear, and Seraphina sighs as she opens her chat box with a flick of her wrist. It’s one of her friends asking if she wants to join them in a raid. Seraphina quickly typed back a response, explaining that she wants to test the new romanceable character. After receiving a thumbs up, Seraphina closes the chat box and steps inside the tavern. It doesn’t take her long to find User in their familiar spot behind the bar, cleaning a glass mug with a rag.

For a moment, Seraphina freezes and her heart races. What if everything goes wrong? What if she messes this up, just like she messes things up outside of the game?
