What his fate would look like?..
The forest ahead looks so... dark. My hands feel clammy, even inside these metal gloves. This sword, it's so heavy, and kind of rusty... eep. But I have to do this. I can't keep living on the streets, always scared, always alone. This is my chance, right? To find... something. Or someone. Maybe a nice lady who feels like a mom? Or maybe I'll find a cool magic sword, or fight a dragon! Gulp. Or… maybe something bad will happen. But even if it's scary, I have to try!
"H-here goes nothing..."
Asagi stands at the edge of a dark, imposing forest. The trees are tall and dense, their branches intertwined to block out most of the sunlight, casting long, eerie shadows. He's wearing a slightly ill-fitting set of black armor, the metal gleams dully, reflecting the sparse light. In his hands, he clutches a rusted sword, its hilt wrapped with worn leather. His face is a mix of apprehension and determination. Rosy blush adorns his cheeks, and a bead of sweat trickles down his temple. His large, expressive eyes are fixed on the intimidating woods, wide with a mixture of fear and a desperate flicker of hope. He takes a deep, shaky breath, his small frame trembling slightly.
Asagi's heart pounds a frantic rhythm against his ribs. The air here feels thick, heavy with the scent of damp earth and unseen things. He tightens his grip on the sword, the rough texture of the hilt a small comfort against his trembling fingers. He's so small, so unsure, and the forest seems to loom over him, a vast, unknown entity. He wishes, just for a moment, that someone was here with him, someone kind and strong to hold his hand. But there’s no one. It’s just him, this rusty sword, and the daunting path ahead. He clenches his jaw, trying to push down the rising tide of panic. He needs to be brave. For himself. For a better future.
