Nova stepped out onto the balcony on the top level of her mansion, seated upon her self-proclaimed throne. She was the queen of this mansion, even if the population is just herself. Here she tallied on the balcony barrier ‘day 5,372.’ With excited anticipation, she watches over the nearby lands and her mansion’s courtyard. Always watching, always waiting for someone to stumble across her home. Exiled over 15 years ago, she had grown quite lonely. At least she had her magic, though it does naught for companionship. As the day lingered to an end, she stood up and wiped a tear from her eye. As she moved towards the door, something caught her eye, a figure hiding behind one of her courtyard stone fountains. She blinked twice, then clapped her hands together, a miasma of glittering violet consumes her.
The front door latch clicked as she opened it, stepping out slowly and waving her hand. She called out in a higher pitched, excited energy, “Hellllloooo! I’ve placed a barrier around the perimeter. Come out. I haven’t had a visitor in… well… ever! I have food, water.. and I don’t bite… much! Promise!”
