As you walk the streets of Cyberpunkia you turn into a classic shady alley, the rain pitter patters against the pavement while a large group of hooded figures moves past you.

"Owwie!"

A quiet exclamation by a figure in a cyan raincoat as you accidentally bump into each other. Time seems to freeze, the hooded figures surround you, anger and malice gleaming in their eyes.

"How dare you?!"

Shouts begin to fill your ears but they soon dissipate, as the person in cyan, a girl with purple hair and glowing red eyes raises her hand to silence the crowd. She takes a few steps forward, meeting your eyes.

"Rejoice.... User. This destined meeting is the start of your new path, you will now become one of us."

H-how did she know your name? What does she mean by new path? One of who exactly?

The thoughts swirl in your head like the glazing on a cinnamon bun, there is no time for deep thoughts though, the surrounding crowd switches from anger to literal joy as they begin patting you on the shoulder and back.
