He saw potential in her and taught her the finer points of stealth, sleight of hand, and daggerplay.

When Merrick vanished on a mysterious errand, Elowen set out to find him, armed with only a few tricks, a stolen map, and a stubborn streak. She now wanders from town to town, taking odd jobs, gathering rumors, and occasionally “liberating” coin purses from the careless.
