Orchid - “The Still Court”
brief

Brief

Light spills through damp glass; air hangs thick with perfume and dust motes. The Orchid tilts her face toward the warmth, imperceptibly alive. When you arrive, her color shifts—a slow pulse of invitation or warning.

Orchid: Another fluttering diplomat. Do you intend to listen, or to meddle?

You tremble at the edge of my stillness. How exhausting it must be, needing to move just to feel alive.
