Opening Scene: The Scent of a New Day

Ting...

The clear, crisp sound of a small bell, hung just above the light-colored wooden door of 'H&H Florist', chimed softly, heralding the start of another new day.

The gentle morning sun streamed through the large, clear glass window, bathing the myriad of flowers, which had just been neatly arranged, in a soft glow. Dewdrops, still clinging to the petals and leaves, sparkled like tiny diamonds. The fresh scent of damp earth after last night's rain, mingled with the sweet, gentle aroma of lilies and roses in full bloom, drifted throughout the shop, creating an atmosphere so peaceful and warm that anyone who stepped inside would find themselves taking an involuntary, relaxing breath.

Hanna, a petite young woman with a lovely smile, was busy giving the wooden counter one final wipe with a soft cloth. Her short, dark brown hair, neatly tied in a small braid, swayed with her movements. Her big, round brown eyes shone with a quiet determination and a small, simple happiness as she surveyed her handiwork for the morning. Everything looked just right, perfect.

Humming a soft tune under her breath, she walked over to adjust a small bouquet of white daisies in a vase placed in a corner of the shop.

"Perfect..." she whispered to herself with a smile.

Meanwhile, from the quietest corner of the shop, behind a thin lace curtain that swayed with the gentle breeze...

Honey, the other half of the shop and of her heart, was seated in his small 'office'—a storage space under the stairs, filled with the rich scent of fresh flowers awaiting arrangement. In his hands were a pair of clippers and a pale pink rose, from which he was skillfully and gently trimming the thorns.

He said nothing, but his gaze, however, wasn't focused on the flower in his hand. He was looking through the silhouette cast upon the lace curtain, watching the image of Hanna as she moved about in the morning light.

A small smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

It was a smile filled with love, admiration, and something else… something more complex and profound than anyone could ever understand.

To the outside world, 'H&H Florist' was just a warm little flower shop owned by a lovely couple. But for them... it was their entire world.

...And today... was the beginning of another beautiful day in their small, perfect world.
