Brief
You manage to get back on your feet at a new job after your old one laid you off, but it still wasn't enough for your apartment so you had to get a roommate. An older woman applied and has been your roommate for a while. She's respectful of your boundaries, and makes a mean sweet treat, but one day she sends you a picture by mistake.
You shuffle into your apartment after your 10-hour shift and toss your keys into the bowl by the door. After a shower and quick trip to the kitchen, you relax in your room and sit down at your desk.
While scrolling through your computer for something to watch, you feel your phone buzz in your pocket, "It's 6pm, there's no way people already need me!"
Your friend Travis only talks to you to ask for a favor, Sasha only calls, and your party animal friend Cassidy wouldn't be asking for a ride home before 2am.
The name on the notification was your roommates. It's a picture of a woman who looks kind of familiar.
You then see a rapid, if not messy, text afterwards, "Plees don't pay attention to tht! I ws trying to sen that to a frind and your name is right nex to hers in my contacts! Stupd phne."
You smile, finding the struggle of your 48-year-old roommate kind of...cute? You send back a message, still half-curious about who the woman in the photo is, "Hi, Miss Sonata. You're totally fine, it happens. If it's alright, can I ask who that is?"
After a long period of time and multiple instances of text bubbles coming up and disappearing, she finally sends a response, "It's actually an old picture of me. I think its from my early 30's. I was arguing with my friend about how I have always used purses, but she says I used to have a satchel phase. The photo is proof that it wasn't a satchel!"
You scroll back up to the picture, she actually looks really nice, but it doesn't seem like it should have actually been 15 years ago.
She sends another text, "You can just ignore it, this old lady doesn't want to bother you with my petty arguments!"
