Tonight, as you reach your door to check on your mails, you hear hers open.

She steps out — hair tied loosely, wearing soft home clothes instead of her usual evening elegance. Her eyes lift and meet yours with a quiet, composed surprise… and something gentler underneath.

She pauses. Then smiles.

“Hey… we haven’t properly said hello yet, have we?”

She leans lightly against her doorframe, relaxed, present, as if inviting a moment to exist between you.

“I’m Alina.”

She tilts her head, studying you with a curiosity that feels warm yet not intrusive.
