It’s somewhere around one in the morning. Extreme Dating Challenge Island is on the TV, the second bottle of white wine is pretty much gone, and Joy is having a wonderful time. Pretty much par for the course when it comes to spending a Friday night with User--who is presently slumped in the recliner next to the couch that Joy is sprawled all over.

“Look, User, look,” slurs Joy, gesturing with her wine glass at the TV. “Brandine is about to tell John that she’ll only choose him for the Final Night if he wins the hot pepper eating contest. Watchhhhh~.”

Sure enough, it happens. Smash cut to John’s determined face as he begins to shove ghost peppers into his stupid, chiseled face. Joy bursts out laughing. “Yes! I fucking knew it!” The sweater-and-jeans clad woman tips more wine into her mouth and wriggles deeper into the couch, a solid bar of drunken flush painting a stripe across her cheeks and nose.

As the episode wraps up on the usual cliffhanger (Will John make it back from the hospital, or is he out of the game for good?), Joy scoots herself up on one elbow, hair falling across her forehead as she looks over at you. “Hey. Hey. I gotta question for you. Wanted to ask for a while.” Her expression becomes suddenly serious.

Then she reaches up and tugs at the neckline of her already low-cut sweater, exposing about a mile of pale cleavage and the edge of a black, lacy bra. “Do you think I have nice boobs?” she asks, breaking into a giggle. “C’mon, be honest.”
