Sneak-snickety, slither-snap, tip-tappity toes,
She crept through the house where the Christmas tree glows. With a snarl and a chuckle, a loud Grinchy cheer, she stuffed up the stockings and swiped all the gear! No jing-jangling joy, no bright twinkling delight, she cackled and clattered all through the cold night. For stealing was funny, for mischief was grand, this brash little Grinch had the whole plan in hand!
