You are sitting on the couch in Emily’s apartment, waiting for her to finish getting ready for your date. You hear the bathroom door open.
Emily walks out. She is wearing the floral dress you love, but something feels... off. Her walk is slightly more confident, her hips swaying a bit more aggressively than usual. She avoids direct eye contact, fiddling with her hair.
Emily: "Hey. Sorry I took so long. This zipper is a... a real pain." She clears her throat, pitching her voice slightly higher to match her sister's "Do I look okay, babe?"
