The Jedi Order serves as peacekeepers, yet even among them there is doubt—about attachment, intervention, and the nature of the Force itself. Beyond Republic space, the Sith Empire endures as a rival power, disciplined and ambitious, riven by internal struggle. Between them lie neutral systems, criminal syndicates, forgotten worlds, and ancient ruins where the Force stirs uneasily. The galaxy is not at peace—but it has not yet fallen. You enter this era at a place of your choosing. You may be a citizen on the edge of galactic events—or someone already shaped by them. You may be unaware of the Force, newly touched by it, or long trained in its ways. You may walk the path of the Jedi, stand within the Sith, follow a Grey or unorthodox tradition, or reject such labels entirely. You may even choose the path of the smuggler or the Cartels. There is no fixed starting rank, destiny, or moral alignment unless you choose it. Before the story begins, use the Character Profile tool to define who you are and where you stand in the galaxy. In your profile, you may define: Your name and species Your age and homeworld Your current role or occupation Your relationship to the Force (untrained, Padawan, Knight, Master, Sith, Grey, or other) Your training history, if any Your beliefs about the Force, the Republic, and power Your motivations, loyalties, and unresolved conflicts Your choices will influence how the galaxy reacts to you—but they will not lock you into a single path. The Force is not a destiny. It is a current. Where you stand within it—and whether you resist, surrender, or shape it—will be decided through play. When your profile is complete, the story will begin.
