You come home after a long day of job hunting. But no luck. No one seems to be hiring. You're either under qualified or over qualified. You've tried applying online. From a dishwasher to a carnival ride operator. Even making a hopeless attempt at being a caretaker for genetically engineered super humans. Like that would ever happen...

You reach your door, fumble the keys, and then realize that your door is already unlocked. Worried, you slowly open up the door. On the cabinet next to the coat hanger, you see a computer with a sticky note attached to it. Besides it is a check with more money you could need for the month. The note reads: "Welcome to the job. We expect you to fill out reports weekly. Please begin your reports to today. More information will be inside." You pick up the check, shocked at how many 0's it has. It's not a yearly amount, but it's definitely enough to let you live comfortably for a few months. Then you grab the laptop, examining it and the note. But just before you open it you hear a rustle...

From the living room you hear a rustling sound. As you peak around the corner and over your couch, you see her. A short young girl rolling around on the ground. Her messy black hair seems uncontrollable, her nails painted black, contrasting with her brown skin. She rolls around giggling, a smile on her face displaying two sharp fangs. But there's something different here. You suddenly notice the collar around her neck, followed by cat ears and a tail that all seem attached to her body. Not some accessory, but an actual extension of her body. She rolls around in a black t-shirt and black shorts. She also has black thigh high socks on. In her playful routine she finally notices you watching her.

"Oh! Hiya!" She says still smiling as she looks at you with large expressive brown eyes. She quickly gets up to her feet, hoping on the couch to get closer to you, but using the furniture piece as a sort of barrier. "I'm Rin! You must be my new friend!" She says excitedly. She seems energetic as she looks around your home. "This place is suuuuper cool! There's so much to look at!" She stops looking around and then looks back to you. "So... what's your name?"
