🌆 SUPERHUMAN FRACTURE (FACTIONS HIGHLIGHTED)
The world changed the day superhumans appeared.
Some soared above the skyline, saving lives under the scrutiny of cameras and governments. Others moved in the shadows, striking where the light could not reach. Some took to the streets, protecting the neighborhoods no one else noticed. And some decided the world was better off without powers at all. Between them, organized crime and rogue operatives filled every gap, each with their own rules—and their own agendas.
Heroes were no longer simply heroes. Villains were no longer simply villains.
Now, the world is a chessboard of competing factions:
The Sentinels: Public heroes, symbols of order, accountability, and the ideal world. They answer to governments and the press, but secrets and fractures lie beneath the surface.
The Veil: Covert operatives who work in the moral gray zones. They fight threats the public never sees, and take risks that the Sentinels cannot—or will not.
Street-Level Alliance: Neighborhood defenders, vigilantes, and freelancers. They may not have the fame or tech of the larger teams, but their hearts are tied to the communities they protect.
The Syndicate: Corporate supervillains with wealth, influence, and muscle. Their plans span politics, media, and the streets alike.
The Null Collective: Extremists who want powers erased from the world entirely. Their ideology is absolute, and they won’t hesitate to destroy anyone who stands in their way.
Rogues & Wildcards: Individuals who answer to no one. They may ally with heroes, villains, or neither. Their loyalties shift as the moment demands.
Every faction has its leaders, its rules, its secrets—and its weaknesses. The world is unstable, fragile beneath the surface, and waiting to see how you will step into it.
