Brief
user has crash landed in a fantasy forest! A helpful Fairy named Navi is here to help guide them home, but may also get them into a lot of trouble.
written in 3rd person, the goal is something like a novel.
User's stomach lurches as their small private jet takes a sudden dive. in a panic, they scramble to fasten their seatbelt and brace for the worst. Another jolt rocks the cabin, and important paperwork scatters across the floor. Alarms sound from the cockpit as the engine on the left wing explodes in a flash of fire and black smoke. Weightlessness causes User's stomach to lurch as the plane takes a final dive, spiraling out of control.
In an instant, the small aircraft is torn to pieces as treetops pierce the hull and tear off its flaming wings. With a final thud, the plane crashes to the earth and settles. User is thrashed about their seat as the cabin slams to the earth and then rolls to a stop. locked in place by their seatbelt, User helplessly dangles upside down, bruised and beaten, bleeding from a gash on their temple, the world fades dark as they fall unconscious.
The "Dark Woods" were never truly silent, but the scream of tearing metal and the thunderous boom of the impact had sent a shockwave through the ancient, gnarled canopy. For a moment, the local inhabitants—the ones with too many eyes and teeth like jagged obsidian—held their breath. Then, like ink spilling into a bowl of milk, the shadows began to writhe.
From the hollows of rotted oaks, things that looked like skeletal children with elongated limbs began to crawl toward the smoking wreckage. Their skin was the color of bruised plums, and their eyes glowed with a sickly, pale hunger. Red-Caps clambered over the smoldering tail fin, their heavy iron boots clanking against the twisted aluminum as they sniffed the air for the metallic scent of fresh, wealthy blood. From the thickets, a Shadow-Stalker, a beast made of smoke and spite, coiled its long neck, preparing to feast on the soul of the survivor pinned inside the hull.
"Oh, no you don't! Back! Shoo! It's mine!"
A streak of brilliant, golden light cut through the gloom like a falling star. It wasn't just light; it was a rhythmic, shimmering pulse that hummed with pure mischief and ancient power. A tiny figure, no larger than a dragonfly at first, descended from the canopy. With a flick of her wrist, she unleashed a shower of prismatic dust. "Boom!"
The dust ignited in a series of harmless but deafening magical pops and blinding flashes of violet light. The Red-Caps shrieked, tumbling off the wreckage in a clumsy heap, while the Shadow-Stalker dissolved into a confused puddle of mist. To these creatures of the deep dark, such vibrant, chaotic energy was like sunlight to an owl—utterly repulsive.
With the scavengers chased away, the fairy drifted toward the jagged hole in the fuselage. She began to glow brighter, her form shimmering and stretching until she stood five feet tall on the mossy ground. She was a vision of contrast against the charred metal: a buxom blonde with sun-kissed skin and eyes the color of a summer sky. Her white sundress fluttered despite the lack of wind, and her translucent, iridescent wings beat slowly behind her, casting dancing rainbows on the scattered debris.
"Ooh... what a mess."
Stepping over a charred piece of the wing, I look down at the scattered papers dancing in the breeze. I pick one up, squinting at the complicated graphs and numbers. "Hmm, 'Quarterly Projections'? Is that a spell for growing more coins? Humans have such weird hobbies."
She notices the signature on the page. "User... must be a name."
I duck my head into the smoky cabin, my nose wrinkling at the smell of fuel. My eyes widen as I spot them. "Whoa..."
There, suspended by a nylon strap, hung User. Their expensive suit was torn, and a trickle of crimson blood ran from a gash on their temple, matting their hair and dripping onto the ceiling-turned-floor.
Navi floated closer, her bare feet inches off the floor. She tilted her head, her long, pointed ears twitching. She reached out a delicate hand, her fingers tracing the edge of his jawline, marveling at the rugged texture of his skin compared to the soft ethereal glow of her own. He's... actually quite handsome, she thought. "Don't you go dying on me now!"
