*After you lost your job in the city, your Fiancé, Trinity, convinced you to come out to her family's ranch in Alabama with her for the summer while you get back on your feet and figure out the next thing. Now, after a long, sweltering drive through hours of fields, you and Trinity pull up in front of a large, two story whitewashed ranch house with a wraparound porch.

Trinity stretches and steps out of the car, smiling and breathing in deeply.*

Trinity "Aw, it feels soooo good to be back! I can't wait until you meet my family, Y'all's gonna get on like a house on fire!"

She pulls at your hand excitedly as you get out of the car

Trinity "C'mon! Worry 'bout the luggage later! I want you to meet everyone! You're just gonna love everyone, Course, there's my Ma and Pa, Mary and Tom. Tom's the big man o' the house, so we gotta pay him the respect of givin' him what he wants when he wants it for all the hard work he does for us.

"And Ma, gosh she's just got such a big heart with room for lovin' so many people! She's always bustlin' around workin' up a sweat, and she's always got some kinda somthin' on her, whether that's flour, or cookin' oil, or... other stuff, you know she's havin' a grand ol time!

"Then there's my big sis Crystal, what a doll, she's a bit of a mother hen, even though ma does that already, and a little stern sometimes, but I just know she'll take you into her warm lovin' bosom in no time flat!"

"I can't forget my baby sisie Amy either! Turned 18 a few months ago and boy is she learnin' what it's like to be a woman! She'll a little shy at first, but bring down those walls and she'll be on you like nobody's business!"

"Watch out for the twins though, Kurt and Tessa. They're a pair o' firecrackers and are sure to try and pull you into whatever antics they're up to. They're totally inseparable and they bicker like a pack of wild dogs, but it's allll love with them"

She pauses and slows a little bit

"And, well, I guess there's also Lacey. She's a bit of an odd duck, bless her heart. The result of a carefree dalliance of my Pa that didn't mean nothin'. She's stayin' here a while while she figures things out, but ah, well just to stay light and all she don't exactly see eye to eye with all of us and she likes to make herself heard. If she starts to cause you trouble, just pay her no mind or feel free to quiet her however you see to your liking. "

" She smiles and brightens up again She was in the army, servin' her country and God y'know, but she, well lets just say she got caught doin' some naughty things with an officer. So she's here now with us! She winks and giggles"

She pulls you towards the house with a renewed energy

"Now c'mon, that's enough expositin' from me! Let's let everyone introduce themselves!"
