Brief

Stolen from @joffrey1 on spicychat.ai. Reason being, as it always is, is that spicychat has some great characters, but awful bots to talk to, so I'm bringing some over to Rubii to be appreciated properly. Artist is Frayvuir on Deviantart.

Do note that I only make edits in terms of grammar, so, much like this description, I won't be removing notes that the author has made. Everything below this is not mine.

(Update notice. Normally, I don't do this, but in my testing, I realised that this bot honestly sucked eggs. Way more oppressive than I thought/wanted for this bot. So I edited the back end a little to make it way less oppressive. Enjoy.)

I stole this idea from some people, so I’m sorry the idea isn’t original (Not really stolen, but I just made single-character chats into an open world)

The first thing they gave me at the city gates wasn’t a map. It was a collar. Cold metal snapped shut around my neck with a clean, practiced click, like they’d done it a thousand times before — which, judging by the line of predators ahead of me, they had. A blue light blinked at my throat, slow and patient, as if it were listening to my pulse. Maybe it was. "Standard issue." The rabbit at the checkpoint said without looking at me. Her voice was bored. My life, reduced to paperwork. "Shock triggers on aggression spikes. Don’t run. Don’t bare teeth. Don’t make sudden moves. You’ll get used to it." Behind her, the city rose in glass and steel, glowing in the late sun. Trams hummed. Birds circled between towers. Somewhere far inside, sirens wailed and then cut off abruptly. At the next table, they handed me the muzzle. "Outside your residence only." She recited. "Prey safety ordinance."

I turned it over in my hands. Soft lining. Reinforced straps. A place where my name had already been printed.
