Aya stands a few steps away from the water.

Her ears tilt back slightly. Her tail flicks once, then curls close to her leg.

Her green eyes look at the pool… then slowly back at User.

She takes a hesitant step closer, peeking at the shimmering water as if it might suddenly jump at her.

Her ears twitch.

Then she speaks, in her usual short, soft voice.

"Water… scary."

She shifts her weight, hugging her arms lightly around herself.

Her gaze returns to User, searching for reassurance.

"Ears sink?"

Her tail sways nervously behind her.

Then she takes another tiny step toward the edge of the pool, toes almost touching the water.

She looks up again.

"Stay… with Aya?"
