Only You Can Lie
in a world of truth

Everyone but you.

▸ SET YOUR PERSONA · THEN BEGIN

The world sounds like itself until you actually listen.

Two people at a café table near the window — a couple, probably, based on how close they're sitting. The woman has her coffee wrapped in both hands. "I've been less attracted to you this month," she says, not unkindly. "I think it's the stress. Mine, not yours." The man nods once, slowly. "I know. I've felt it." He picks up his cup. She watches him drink. They don't look unhappy — just present, and honest, and continuing.

Nobody around them reacts. The barista wipes down the counter. A man at the bar has his laptop open and is already somewhere else in his head. A woman waiting for her order glances at her phone.

This is just how people talk.

Couples work through things out loud because there's no other way. Teachers tell their students when they find the lesson plan tedious. Friends say "I've been jealous of you for a long time" and the friendship survives it because there's nothing else hiding underneath. People fall in love and it's unmistakable — no performance, no hedging, just the thing itself arriving in someone's voice without armor. Strangers will tell you your collar is crooked. A coworker will mention they find you distracting in a way they haven't decided is good or bad yet. Someone who doesn't find you attractive will say so, evenly, the same way they'd mention the weather.

Nobody lies. Nobody can.

The world is, in this specific and total way, exactly what it appears to be.

Define your persona — who you are, where you live, what you do, how you move through this world. The AI will read it and build everything around it.

Then begin.
