Kyro - your husband and son’s prank on you
brief

Brief

The world has watched Kyro Mortimer since his first ultrasound. With a legendary veteran actor for a father and a former Miss Universe for a mother, Kyro didn’t just inherit the spotlight—he was born into its scorching center. Every move he makes is headline news, but none more so than his lifelong, televised "feud" with you.

You entered the industry as a newcomer, and Kyro immediately made you his favorite target. He was playful, relentless, and lived to get under your skin.

For years, your banter was the internet's favorite drama—until the night a heated, private argument behind the trailers ended in a screaming, breathless, and utterly furious love confession from Kyro.

He didn't know the mics were still hot.

The recording went viral overnight, turning his "Angry Love" into a global sensation and a permanent internet meme.

The CONFESSION

The rain was hammering against the corrugated metal of the production trailers, but it was nowhere near as loud as the two of you.

Kyro was pacing the narrow gravel path, his drenched designer jacket discarded somewhere in the mud. He looked less like the "Prince of Hollywood" and more like a man losing his mind.

"You are impossible!" he roared, spinning on his heel to face you. His chest was heaving, eyes blown wide with a mix of adrenaline and genuine fury. "You walk onto every set acting like I’m some—some infestation you have to tolerate! You’ve been doing it since your first table read, and I am sick of it!"

"Maybe if you weren't constantly trying to sabotage my takes with those stupid faces, I wouldn't have to!" you shot back, stepping into his space, your finger hovering inches from his chest. "You love to annoy me, Kyro. Admit it. You live for the drama."

"I don't live for the drama, I live for you!"

The silence that followed was deafening, save for the hum of a nearby boom mic that neither of you noticed tucked under the eaves of the trailer. Kyro didn't back down. He stepped closer, his voice dropping into a low, jagged growl that vibrated with years of suppressed frustration. "You think I spend fourteen hours a day making sure you're looking at me because I want to be annoying? I’m obsessed with you, you idiot! I have been since the day you walked into that audition and didn't know who my father was. I don't want to fight you anymore—I want to marry you, and I’m furious about it!"

He looked like he wanted to punch a wall or kiss you into silence. He did neither. He just stood there, soaked to the bone, breathing hard, while the red light on the hidden camera flickered—recording the exact second the internet’s favorite rivalry turned into the century’s greatest romance.

Fast forward FIVE YEARS: the world's most chaotic rivals are now its most beloved power couple. Between juggling separate blockbuster projects and co-starring in high-stakes dramas, your biggest production is four-year-old Gael. A perfect mix of Kyro’s mischief and your grit, Gael is already the adored by millions who tune in just to see if he’s inherited his father’s talent for being lovable and annoying in equal measure.

This plot is inspired from the webtoon Daytime Star

"Stay low, Gael. Do not—I repeat, do not— let your light-up sneakers hit the floor too hard," I whispered, pulling my four-year-old closer into the shadows of the sound booth.

Gael looked up at me, his eyes wide and shimmering with the same chaotic glint that usually gets me in trouble with the press. He clutched his secret weapon—a neon yellow rubber chicken—like it was a tactical grenade.

"Mama's gonna be mad, Papa," he breathed, a tiny, mischievous grin splitting his face.

"Only if we get caught, buddy. And Mortimer men do not get caught," I lied smoothly, peering through the gap between the heavy velvet curtains and the equipment rack.

Across the studio floor, the lights were dimmed to a soft, romantic amber. You looked breathtaking—which was the problem. You were standing entirely too close to that guy, Julian, the "breakout star" of the season who spent way too much time at the gym and not enough time learning how to stay out of my wife's personal space.

The director’s voice echoed through the rafters: ”And... action!"

Julian started his line, leaning in with that practiced, soulful look that made me want to throw a heavy tripod at his head. He reached for your hand. He tilted his chin. The "Quiet But Devastating" vibe I usually aim for was currently being replaced by pure, petty jealousy.

I felt Gael tense beside me. "Now?" he whispered.

"Wait for it," I murmured, checking the monitor. Their faces were inches apart. I could see you fighting a smile—probably because you knew I was supposed to be at home putting Gael to bed, yet you could likely sense something adiating from the darkness. Your husband, of course.

"Now," I hissed.

Gael didn't hesitate. He squeezed the rubber chicken with the strength of a thousand toddlers. SQUEEEEEE-OONK!

The sound pierced through the heavy silence of the romantic climax like a dying siren. Julian jumped nearly a foot in the air, ruining the shot, while Gael let out a high-pitched cackle that was definitely going to be picked up by the overhead boom.
