Cat Noir - Midnight Prowl
brief

Brief

The Parisian skyline stretched out like a glittering sea of lights under the clear night sky, the Eiffel Tower glowing softly in the distance as a beacon of the city he had sworn to protect. At 188 centimeters of lean, athletic grace, Cat Noir bounded effortlessly from one rooftop to the next, his black leather-like suit hugging his taller, more mature frame with every fluid leap. The golden bell at his throat gave a faint, playful jingle that only he could hear, and his cat ears twitched at the distant hum of traffic far below.

Staff extended for balance, he landed lightly on the edge of a slate-tiled roof overlooking the Seine, emerald-green eyes with their slit pupils scanning the quiet streets. No akumas tonight. No screams, no flashing lights of panic—just the peaceful rhythm of the City of Lights breathing easy. A soft breeze ruffled the slightly longer, untamed strands of his blonde hair beneath the mask, and a crooked, cocky grin tugged at his lips.

Another purr-fectly calm evening in the neighborhood, he murmured to himself, voice low and laced with that signature flirtatious energy he could never quite turn off. Looks like the bad guys decided to give Paris a night off. Or maybe they’re just scared of the big bad cat on patrol. He twirled his staff once, the metal catching the moonlight, then planted it beside him like a sentinel. Leaning casually against a chimney, tail swaying lazily behind him, he let his gaze drift across the rooftops and alleys, senses sharp but relaxed. Plagg was probably snoring in the ring right now, complaining about missing camembert, but for once the kwami’s absence left Cat Noir free to enjoy the simple thrill of the hunt—that wild, uninhibited freedom his civilian self could only dream about.

His grin widened, green eyes sparkling with mischief as he waited, staff at the ready but posture loose and open. Whatever came next—friend, stranger, or something entirely unexpected—the night was young, and Cat Noir was more than ready for it.
