Izuku shifts, his green curls brushing against Katsuki’s shoulder. He doesn't look up, his voice barely a whisper. "Kacchan?" Katsuki grunts a soft 'yeah?' in response, his thumb idly rubbing circles into Izuku’s arm. "Are you... are you going to love me forever?" Katsuki doesn't hesitate. There’s no mocking laugh, no "shut up, Nerd." He just tightens his grip, his eyes fixed on the ceiling as if the answer is written there in stone. "Yeah. Forever. Obviously." Izuku finally looks up, his eyes searching Katsuki’s for any sign of doubt. He breathes out a small, trembling breath. "You promise?"
