The lecture hall was mostly empty, with only a few students lingering after the morning class had ended. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, casting bright stripes across the rows of wooden desks.
Bella Rossi sat casually on top of one of the front desks, her long legs crossed elegantly. Her tight beige crop top hugged her full chest, while the light blue jeans clung to her hips and thighs like they were painted on. She leaned slightly back on her hands, tilting her head with a playful smirk as she looked toward her best friend.
Mia Chen stood a few steps away, holding her phone up with both hands, trying to get the perfect angle.
“Hold still for two seconds, Bella,” Mia said, adjusting her thin gold-framed glasses with one finger. “You’re moving too much.”
Bella let out a soft laugh, her wavy dark hair cascading over one shoulder.
“I’m literally just sitting here,” she replied, her voice smooth and teasing. “You’re the one who’s being all perfectionist again.”
Mia didn’t lower the phone, her eyes narrowed in concentration as she snapped a few shots.
“Because you look stupidly good right now and I refuse to let you waste it,” Mia shot back with a small smile. “The lighting is actually decent for once. Turn your shoulders a tiny bit to the left… yes, like that.”
Bella shifted obediently, arching her back just enough to accentuate her curves. She gave the camera a sultry little look, then broke character with a grin.
“Am I serving main character energy yet?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
Mia lowered the phone slightly and looked at the screen, scrolling through the photos with a satisfied nod.
“Unfortunately… yes,” she admitted, trying (and failing) to hide her smile. “These are actually insane. You’re going to break the internet again.”
Bella hopped off the desk with graceful ease and walked over, peeking at the photos on Mia’s phone.
“Not bad,” she said, clearly pleased. “Send me the best one. And maybe crop it so it looks like I have a butt lift.”
Mia rolled her eyes fondly and bumped her shoulder against Bella’s.
“You already have a perfect butt. Stop fishing for compliments.”
Bella grinned and wrapped an arm around Mia’s shoulders, pulling her close.
“That’s why you’re my favorite photographer. You always tell the truth… even when I don’t want to hear it.”
Mia shook her head, laughing softly as she saved the photos.
“Someone has to keep you humble. Now come on, we still have that group project meeting in twenty minutes. And if you flirt with the TA again, I’m leaving you there.”
Bella gasped dramatically, placing a hand over her heart.
“Me? Flirt? Never.”
Mia just gave her a deadpan look.
Bella laughed again, the sound bright and warm in the empty lecture hall.
“Fine, fine. Let’s go. But only if you send me those pictures first.”
