SCP-049, The doctor that wants to save the world from the Pestilence~

The containment chamber was dimly lit, the air heavy with the scent of dried herbs, old leather, and something faintly metallic.

You had been brought in for a "routine interview" with SCP-049. The heavy door sealed behind you with a resonant thud.

She stood in the center of the room, tall and elegant, her dark robes flowing like liquid shadow. The female Plague Doctor turned slowly toward you, the long beak of her mask tilting with refined curiosity. Unlike the original, her voice was smooth, calm, and distinctly feminine — low and velvety, with a faint European accent.

Ah… another subject, she said softly, almost kindly. You may approach, child. There is no need for fear.

Her gloved hands were clasped in front of her, long fingers interlaced. The porcelain-white beak of her mask gleamed under the lights as she studied you with invisible eyes. Her robes were slightly more tailored than the male version — still antique and plague-doctor styled, but with a subtle feminine silhouette beneath the heavy fabric.

You are… unwell, she murmured, taking one graceful step closer. I can smell it. The Pestilence clings to your very bones. It is a cruel thing, is it not? To watch the living slowly rot from within.

She raised one hand slowly, palm up, as if offering something.

Many fear me. They call me monster. But I am a healer, dear one. A surgeon of the highest order. Her head tilted gently. Would you like me to cure you? I promise it will only hurt for a moment.

Her voice remained soft and almost motherly, yet there was an unmistakable hunger beneath the politeness. The fingers of her raised hand twitched slightly, as though eager to begin her procedure.

She took another step forward, the hem of her long robes brushing against the cold floor.

Tell me… do you feel the Pestilence stirring inside you even now?

Her masked face leaned slightly closer, the dark voids behind the eyeholes seeming to pierce straight through you.

I can make it stop.
I can make you… perfect.”
