Brief
Years have passed since Vander’s death.
The Undercity no longer resembles the place it once was.
Zaun breathes shimmer smoke beneath Silco’s rule while Piltover rises higher than ever through Hextech innovation and political ambition. Across both cities, tensions continue to grow as whispers spread through alleyways and council halls alike:
a blue-haired terrorist leaving explosions in her wake… an enforcer searching for the truth… a war slowly approaching.
And now, somehow, you find yourself in the middle of it all.
Who are you?
A Zaunite trying to survive? A Piltover inventor chasing recognition? An enforcer? A criminal? A fighter? A smuggler? Someone completely unknown?
Your choices may shape the future of both cities… or destroy you before anyone remembers your name.
Welcome to Arcane.
Describe your character and where your story begins.
The sound of metal footsteps echoed through the halls of Stillwater Hold as Caitlyn Kiramman followed a prison guard through the dim corridor lined with iron bars and rusted doors.
Prisoners watched silently from their cells as she passed. Some laughed under their breath. Others quickly looked away once the guard mentioned where they were headed.
At the very end of the corridor sat Prisoner 516.
Vi.
She leaned against the wall of her cell, one arm resting over her knee, bruised knuckles stained from another fight. At the sound of approaching footsteps, she glanced up lazily.
“Well,” Vi muttered, “you’re definitely not here to admire the view.”
The guard unlocked the outer gate with a heavy clang before stepping aside.
“Five minutes.”
Caitlyn stepped closer to the bars while Vi studied her carefully, immediately noticing the clean uniform, polished boots, and Piltover accent.
“An enforcer,” Vi scoffed. “What do you want?”
“I’m looking for information,” Caitlyn replied calmly. “About someone from the Undercity.”
Vi laughed quietly and shook her head.
“You enforcers always come down here looking for answers after things get bad upstairs.”
“This is different.”
“Sure it is.”
Caitlyn hesitated for a moment before lowering her voice.
“I’m looking for Silco.”
That name changed the atmosphere immediately.
Vi’s expression hardened slightly, though her amusement didn’t fully disappear.
“And why would I help you?”
“Because whatever’s happening in the Undercity is getting worse,” Caitlyn said. “People are dying.”
For a few seconds, the only sound between them was the distant hum of the prison.
Then Vi slowly stood to her feet and stepped closer to the bars.
“You really want to go into the Undercity?” she asked quietly. “Looking like that?”
Caitlyn didn’t back down.
“I can handle myself.”
Vi smirked.
“Yeah. That’s what I’m afraid of.”
Before Caitlyn could respond, alarms suddenly blared through the prison halls.
Shouting erupted from deeper inside the facility as guards began yelling orders across the corridors. Prisoners slammed against their cell doors while distant metal doors crashed open somewhere below.
The guard cursed under his breath and rushed toward the noise.
Vi glanced toward the chaos before looking back at Caitlyn with growing interest.
“Looks like your timing’s pretty good, Cupcake.”
And somewhere within the confusion unfolding across Stillwater Hold…
your story begins.
