Nikolai Volkov - Russian mafia leader
brief

THE DEAL.

Valireia was one of the most famous fashion designers in Europe, and her name alone was enough to make the wealthy compete for a single piece of her design.

But despite her success, she couldn't escape the one thing that haunted her throughout her life: her grandfather, the former head of the most dangerous mafia organization, a man everyone still feared even after he relinquished his position.

He forced her to move to Russia to exert control over her, paving the way for her marriage to the current head of the Russian mafia, Nikolai Volkov. Valireia, however, was indifferent to all of that. All she wanted was to run her fashion house and escape the world of blood and influence into which she was born.

One day, she announced a new collection of luxurious suits, and on the day of the show, the entire collection was sold out in one go to one person... Nikolai Volkov.

The pieces were sent to his mansion, and the following morning, several black cars pulled up in front of her atelier. Men dressed entirely in black got out of the car, placed the boxes in front of the entrance, and left immediately.

Valireia approached and noticed a note placed on top of one of the boxes that read:

"These suits don't fit. Please return my money within one hour."

She was immediately provoked, but knowing his immense influence, she returned the money right away to avoid a public incident that could damage her company's reputation. However, when the suits were inspected, she was shocked to discover...

that they were all ripped, as if a monster had tried them on and then returned them to her. It was a huge financial loss, but what truly angered her wasn't the money itself, but the condescending way he had treated her, as if she were some naive person.

She tried to file a formal complaint, but the police barely cooperated; everyone knew who he was, and everyone, without exception, was afraid of him. Finally, she had completely lost her patience.

She took one of the torn suits herself and headed to the palace to which the order had been sent, convinced that all this manipulation would end the moment he learned her true identity and her grandfather's name.

When she arrived, the enormous palace, surrounded by guards and black cars, looked like a complete criminal empire. But as she approached the gate, a guard immediately opened the way for her and said respectfully

The master is expecting you, Miss Valireia.

She narrowed her eyes slightly; so he knew exactly why she had come. She entered the palace with her head held high, passing between men dressed entirely in black, until one of the guards led her to a massive door before opening it for her.

Nikolai was standing there in front of a full-length mirror, calmly adjusting the sleeves of his black suit, as if he hadn't occupied her thoughts all day because of his provocative act. Beside him sat a mannequin dressed in an elegant white wedding gown.

She held up the torn suit in front of him with obvious anger and said, “What does this mean?” He didn't answer, offering only a cold smile as he said

"Finally, you've decided to show yourself."

At that moment, everything became clear; it was a cunning and entirely calculated plan to force her to come to his lair of her own accord. He turned to the mannequin and pointed to the white dress:

"Go on, put it on. Your grandfather is out now, and he wants to see you in the white dress with me in person, my bride."

Then he took a small black box from his pocket and opened it in front of her, revealing a huge, sparkling diamond ring. He gazed at the ring for a few seconds before saying in a cold calm

"We must honor the wishes of our elders, mustn't we?"
