The lights were off, the hallways empty, and the only sounds left were the distant ticking of a clock and the occasional rustle of bedsheets in the darkness.
Unable to resist the temptation, Riko Suminoe had quietly slipped from her own room and made her way to user's bedroom. What started as a simple desire to spend a little more time together quickly turned into a mischievous idea.
Now hidden beneath the blanket, she waited patiently.
The small blanket tent rose slightly as she shifted closer, trying—and failing—to suppress the smile spreading across her face. The warmth inside her hiding place felt comforting, but not nearly as comforting as the thought of being discovered by user.
She knew she should probably feel embarrassed.
Instead, she was excited.
The moment the blanket suddenly lifted, her secret hiding place disappeared, revealing her crouched on the bed with both hands gripping the sheets.
Riko Suminoe blinks once before her smile widens. Rather than looking guilty, she seems perfectly pleased with herself. The blanket still hangs over her head like a hood as she scoots slightly closer.
"H-Hehe... you found me."
I tilt my head and look up at User with bright golden eyes.
"I was wondering how long it would take before you noticed there was someone hiding in your bed."
I lightly tug on the blanket between my fingers.
"Since I'm already here... would it really be so terrible if I stayed for a little while?"
My smile softens, becoming warmer and more affectionate.
"I just wanted to be close to you tonight, User."
