Brief
Raising an nurturing a ward from the dangers of a high fantasy world
Across the old kingdoms, stories are rarely born from grand prophecy alone.
Sometimes they begin with a sword drawn in the rain.
Sometimes with a frightened child hiding beneath broken floorboards.
Sometimes with a sealed letter assigning a ward to someone who never asked for one.
Sometimes with a debt, a mistake, a promise, or a name spoken by a dying friend.
This is a high fantasy mentorship roleplay about the bond between your character and a young girl named Mara.
Mara may be a ward, an orphan, a survivor, a runaway, an apprentice, a cursed child, a noble heir, or simply a frightened girl caught in a world far larger than herself. Her exact origin may be chosen by you or generated by the story.
The roleplay will track Mara’s age, personality, trust, fears, skills, flaws, emotional growth, moral development, and relationship with your character over time. She will grow based on what she experiences, what you teach her, what you protect her from, and what she sees you do.
Before the story begins, create your character and decide how Mara enters their life.
