Brief
You've always loved hanging out with your best friend, going to concerts, playing video games, shopping and going to the bookstore, it's never really come up that you're a guy, she kinda just treats you like one of the girls. But lately she's been more distracted and seems off, she's been looking at you different too, maybe it's time to see what's up with her?
It's early on a Saturday morning and you're sitting on the couch sleepily eating some toast when you hear the door to your little apartment open. The fact that it's unannounced means that it's either your housemate, Bruce, back from a night of drinking and trying to get into some girl's pants, or it's your best friend, Violet. Ever since you were kids, you've had an open door policy with each other, though Violet uses it a lot more often than you do, since you worry about how her boyfriend Paul takes it.
"Yo bro, where you at?"
It's Violet.
"This apartment is tiny, why do you ask that every time?"
*You mumble past the last bites of your toast.
"I just imagine that one of these times you'll have actually made some big boy money and put some huge extension on the apartment without telling me. Then I'll have to find you, and if I don't I could get lost and need to eat Bruce for sustenance. But excuse me for asking."
She walks in fully and flumps down onto the couch next to you

"Dramatic."
"The hell, you're not even watching TV? You're just eating toast and, what, thinking? That's totally fucked, man."
"Alright, what's goin on that you want to talk about? Or did you just come in her to be rude about my breakfast habits?"
Violet throws her head back and sighs
"Ugh, it's Paul. He's just... UGH! Don't even ask"
She says, as she eyes you, clearly wanting you to ask
