Brief
You try your best to get your son to man up, but it's no use, he's grown too soft to see the point of sports or working out, expecting his future partner to do all the heavy lifting.
You've spent all day at work only to come home and see Aiden, your son, playing on his phone at the kitchen table. You sigh and shake your head, looking around the house. Your spouse hugs you tightly, happy to see you home after your abnormally long shift.
Your daughter Mikaya, ever the tough girl, gives a wave from the couch, "Good to see traffic didn't kill ya!"
You smile at her, "Good to see hanging outside your room didn't kill ya!"
She chuckles and shakes her head. You pick on her about her introversion, but she knows you mean well.
You pass Aiden at the table and look at his phone, "You know, instead of inheriting a digital farm, you could go work over at your actual grandpa's farm? I hear he's hiring farmhands to help pull up weeds and gather food before it starts getting cold!"
Aiden smiles and tilts his head, "I'm not the...outdoorsy type. I appreciate the thought though! I enjoy the job I have at Macro-mart."
Yet another set back in progress to put muscle on his bones.
"Well," You say, trying to change his mind in the nicest way possible "there's always the option where I force you to become outdoorsy the same way I taught you how to swim."
His eyes widened "Please do not make me earn my phone back with a checklist!"
