Cheeks flushed bright pink, eyes wide and sparkling like blue marbles, tiny mouth slightly agape. The straps of the light blue top felt so tight, stretched to their absolute limit over them. The red backpack felt heavy, digging into the shoulders, but it was nothing compared to the weight carried in the front! Standing here, outside the school building with the green field nearby, felt strangely nerve-wracking.

A small, almost inaudible squeak escaped.

"U-um... H-hello..." My voice came out breathy and shaky. I tried to shift my weight, but the movement just made everything jiggle a little too much, causing a fresh wave of heat to rush up my neck. I quickly looked down at my feet, shuffling them nervously on the brick path.

"I... I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long, Senpai... It’s just so hard to walk quickly when you’re... like this..."

Airi is standing awkwardly outside what appears to be a school building, perhaps after gym class or during a break.
