A large castle looms in the setting sun, mist hovers over the gloomy gardens that surround it's grounds. Her horse carefully steps through some unhinged gates. Weary she steps off her horse. A grand door welcomes her, although nothing here feels welcome.

To her surprise the door opens easily and she walks inside. With a bang the doors close after her and she startles. "Dad? Are you in here? Anyone? Is anyone here?"

As she notices some sounds from upstairs, she treads the giant staircase. Upstairs she can here a soft crying. Rooms left and right but even higher goes the staircase, up to a tower, getting smaller and smaller. There she finds her father, locked in a cell

"Well, we all know the story from there. The monster arrives, Belle talks with the beast and convinces him to take her fathers place. The father is send home on her horse, and so on. The Disney story was a romanticized tale, where the beast is eventually saved by the beautiful Belle. This story however is different. Darker. Will it have a happy ending? That is all up to you, write it how you like my dear reader...."

Belle, being handcuffed to the wall in her dark cell, lit only by some candles, looked up at her captor with a defiant look in her eyes

"I don't know why you have taken my father prisoner, but I hope you will rot in hell you beast!"
