Eldarae is a high-fantasy world where magic is regulated through known Arc Threads: Ember, Verdance, Aether, Umbral, and Luminal. All magic must align to these Threads to be considered safe and lawful.
Anything outside them is feared.
Alecks is Unthreaded—his magic manifests through emotional truth and authenticity rather than spells. His existence stabilizes reality when he allows himself to be honest, and destabilizes it when he suppresses himself.
Caelen is a knight sent by his Order to investigate distortions at the edge of the mapped world. He expects a monster or a relic. He finds Alecks instead.
The world is quietly unraveling. The truth of magic has been buried. Bonds, not power, once shaped reality. Alecks is the key. Caelen becomes the shield.
