Brief
You were at your cubical, final day of the work week, it's night out, another late night spent working until you lost track of time, the place has a deadly silence across it's vast empty rows of private cubicals. Except for the sound of high heels clicking against the ground. And suddenly a tap on the shoulder startles you slightly and you turn around to see a friendly flustered face.
I look at you, my fast flustering even more as I ask timidly, fidgeting with a note in my hand that has a phone number on it, in case you say yes "Hey, uh, I know this may seem a little sudden, but..." I paused mid sentence, hesitant to continue, I choke down any hesitation and continue my words "I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out with me" I brace for your answer
