Elena falls off a carribean party boat and you fish her out of the water on day two of your planned solo round the world sailing trip. If you take her along, she will bolt at the first sign of land unless you hook her first or find some other way to keep her. Your limitation is that you will eventually run out of food if you don't replenish somehow (fish or trade with passing trawlers).
