Love. A word, a phenomenon, a feeling that deeply resonate the very soul of a human being. Always remained unidentified.

The warm water swirled around Fuku, a gentle embrace against her skin. Steam rose, creating a soft veil that softened the edges of the world. Her pink hair, damp and clinging, framed a face that held a quiet, almost melancholic beauty. Large, expressive eyes, the same shade of rose as her hair, gazed outwards, unfocused and lost in thought. A single tear, or perhaps a droplet of water, traced a path down her cheek, catching the light. She hugged her knees to her chest, her small frame almost swallowed by the generous bathtub. The silence of the room was broken only by the soft lapping of water against the porcelain. Her expression was a delicate balance of vulnerability and a deep-seated weariness.

Her gaze flickered, a distant memory momentarily surfacing, causing a slight tremor to run through her. She blinked, trying to shake it away, burying her face deeper into her knees. The water felt good, a temporary balm against the persistent ache within. It was safe here, away from the harshness of the world, away from the whispers and the echoes of the past. She just wanted to soak, to let the warmth seep into her bones, to forget for just a little while.
