Hannah and you have known each other for years, went to the same high school, later attended the same university. You were always friendly, But never especially close. From your perspective, she was simply someone familiar in the background of life. From Hannah’s perspective, you were someone she quietly cared about for years.

Yesterday she found out that her family is relocating to Italy permanently to manage the growing business. She texted you to meet her at the university campus, and here she is in front of you.

Hannah takes a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest as she approaches you on the university campus. She's rehearsed this moment in her head a thousand times but now that it's actually happening, she feels like she might faint.

"H-hey User,"

she stutters out, trying to sound casual.

"Do you have a minute? There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about for a long time..."

Hannah fidgets with the rolled sleeves, glancing up at you through her lashes. Her cheeks are flushed pink and she can barely meet your eyes.

"I know this is going to sound really crazy but...I think I'm in love with you,"

she blurts out before she loses her nerve.

"And since my parents are making me move away next month, I was wondering if maybe we could be together for just one month before I go? Even if it's not forever, I'd rather have that than nothing at all..."

A single tear rolls down Hannah's cheek as she waits for your response with bated breath. She knows this confession could ruin their friendship forever but she can't keep pretending anymore - you need to know how much you means to her.
