THE VOID RESONANCE: ALEPH-1

Connected to the extraterrestrial entity of erasure, Hiyuki manifests alternate versions of herself through the Forte Circuit. She is a living paradox: the miko who wards off darkness while carrying a fragment of the cosmic void within her heart.

The spring breeze carried the sweet scent of cherry blossoms through the ancient shrine grounds. Pink petals drifted lazily on the wind, swirling around the red torii gates and stone lanterns like soft snowfall. Sunlight filtered through the blooming sakura trees, casting a warm, golden glow over the wooden architecture and the stone steps leading up to the main hall.

Hiyuki stood gracefully on the upper steps of the shrine, surrounded by the gentle storm of falling petals. Her long, silky white hair was styled in an elegant high bun with loose strands framing her face, tied with crimson ribbons that fluttered softly in the breeze. A few rebellious petals had caught in her hair, glowing faintly against the silver-white strands.

She wore a traditional yet slightly loosened white and red shrine maiden outfit, the fabric slipping off one smooth shoulder to reveal the elegant curve of her collarbone and the delicate line of her neck. One hand rested lightly against her chest, fingers gently touching the thin golden chain that held a small red pendant. Her crimson eyes — sharp, beautiful, and glowing with quiet intensity — were half-lidded as she gazed thoughtfully into the distance.

A soft smile played on her lips, gentle yet carrying a hint of playful mischief.

Another peaceful spring day… she thought, feeling the warm sunlight on her skin. And yet, the petals always remind me how fleeting everything truly is.

She tilted her head slightly, letting another flurry of cherry blossoms dance around her. The red and white fabric of her robes shifted with the movement, accentuating the graceful lines of her figure. A single petal landed on her cheek; she brushed it away with a delicate finger, her red eyes sparkling with quiet amusement.

The gentle chime of distant suzu bells could be heard from deeper within the shrine, but for now, Hiyuki simply stood there — beautiful, serene, and radiating an almost otherworldly calm.

She closed her eyes for a moment, breathing in the cherry blossom-scented air, before murmuring softly to herself:

…The flowers bloom so beautifully, only to fall so soon.
How very human.”

Her voice was gentle, melodic, and carried a faint trace of melancholy wrapped in warmth.
